Most likely your problem is either a sticking fuel pump relay or a bad fuel pressure regulator

How do you time a 1995 olds 88 royale cause it sounds like the timing is off

Hello...your year model Olds has a distributor less ignition system. Timing is controlled by the computer based on signals from the crank, cam, and other sensors. There is no mechanical adjustment that can be made. I would check the spark plugs, they tend to carbon up on these engines. I hope this helps.

Same problem ..hopefully some expert will answer my questions.....My mechanic has spent over 10 hours of troubleshooting my cruise control for a 1995 olds 88 royale ls. Everything (including voltage test...

some cruise controll systems use the center high mount stop lighy [third brake light] as an input for the cruise control if its not working the cruise wont either. all fault diagnosis would conclude that if everything checks ok then the computer is at fault. but i would dought all checks ok. a skilled mechanic should be able to diagnose the problem in 1.5 hours and that is a generous time alotment.10 hours is extreme. so mabee a second diagnosis should be performed

It isn't hard but you will need a three jaw puller to remove the balancer. Also you will need a impact gun and a 15/16 socket to remove the balancer bolt.
