Question about 2002 Dodge Stratus
Where are the plugs located on a '02 dodge stratus and what do you have to remove to get to them?
I'm assuming you have the 2.4 litre 4 cylinder powerplant. The 4 spark plugs are all in a line on the side of the engine with the 1/4" + plug wires leading you to them. If there is a plastic engine cover over everything you may have to remove it first, otherwise just start with a cool engine and get creative with positioning a spark plug socket and ratchet wrench to get to each plug. Hint: do one plug at a time and replace the wire before moving on to the next one so you will have no concerns of messing up the firing order)

You have to remove the intake plenum, the plugs are under it (2.5L), in 2.7L removing the plenum will not help anything.
If you look under the wiper cowl area on the back head you will see the 3 coils just like on the Front bank. remove the coils and the plugs are underneath. you will need a spark plug socket, 3 in extension, and a 1 in extension to get these out because of the clearance.
This models work for 2001 until 2006.
Hope helped with this (remember rated this help) Good luck.

If its a 2001+ Stratus Coupe first you need to remove the 2 bolts on the left and right sides of the lower middle dash assembly, these are at the very bottom of the assembly close to the center consuel (were your gearshift knob is. Once you remove those the assembly around your stero will come off. After that its just a matter of unbolting the stereo, sliding it out and removing the wireing harness in the back.
hope this helps
