If it was my i would take it by a speed shop and have the camshaft and bearing on the cam shaft checkout give these websites a try www.autozone.com and www.alldatadiy.com i would also stop by a ford dealership to see if there is some one there who is old school and know something about these engines if all fails stop by your local library and get your hands on a old 1978 lincoln book that had a 460 engine in it wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.
