Problem with my car 09/21/2010. A Battery is good, cable are good, inspected fuses on the driver's side ( Fuse panel all good). Radio, window e.c.t. work. I'm tried jump hear click, click, and click but I...

Hi! This most likely the problem when you try to crank and no start.
missfire- low power sparkplug
selonoid- not enough power going to the starter or Starter it self.
Bad Sensor- Into Intake Manifold, Oil Pressure, EGR, Carburator. Exshaust.
Belt- on to Camshaft, Cam gear, or Gear chain.
Fuel- gas line, fuel filter, fuel pump, low flow into fuel line or No fuel,
Bad Timing Belt on to camshaft or crankshaft.
My best bet is your AC Compressor Camshaft pully and your Crankshaft pully. Try this if I was right. Try to move the tension on the main motor belt, if it's tight, try moving the pully by hand, and if the compressor and crankshaft pully move or wable just a little. This means the berring of the pully are worn out and this cause the lost timing starter. but lets make sure, let someone look at the cam pully or the crankshaft pully while trying to start, if the pully moves, This mean that your pully need to be replace. this will cause to lack the Ignition,.To my last bet also check your Catalitic Converter mostt likely they get burned out when you keep trying to crank the car with no start, also check your ignition switch, hope this will solve the problem
P.S. some cars have a Intel switch also know the Fuel switch is located on the pasenger or driver seat. this will cause the fuel flowing into the gas intel line. press it in to reset.

Glad to help.

1993 geo metro timeing is off

Get a strobe timing light, hook the aligator clamps to the battery and the C clamp to the #1 spark plug wire. This makes the lamp flash every time #1 plug fires. Point it at the main pully and you should see it flash and light up a mark on the pully. If you see no mark, stop the engine and look for it. Paint it white with some correction fluid, then try again. You will also need to loosen your distributor, which has two bolts holding it tight. You can tell which bolts as they have elongated holes to allow you to adjust timing. Once you see the white timing marks, (with engine warmed up) rotate the loosened distributor until the mark lines up with the 5 or 6 on the plastic timing belt cover near the pulley. This would put your timing 5 or 6 degrees advanced. I think factory is 5.5, so this should be close.

you have all 7 marks lined up? there are the top two pullys that need to be lined with the top marks on the rear timing covers, and then there are two marks on the bottom of those pullys that need to be lined with the marks on the two bottom pullys, as well as the two side marks on the bottom pullys that need lined on the belt, and then the mark on the crak pully that needs lined up with the mark on the oil pump?

There are specific marks on the cam pully and the crank pully that line up with marks on the block for the crank pully and on the timing belt cover for the cam pully they need to be lined up to get correct timing.

Doing a water pump on a 01 chevy impala wit a 3.8. and the last dam bolt on the pump is right in line wit the p/s pully , and not where the holes would normaly line up wit it but its right on the rib line....

If you can't reposition the P/S pully to line up the hole and bolt you will need to remove the power steering pump to get to that last bolt. Good luck.

Need diagram to install serpentine belt

Look at the pullies to see if they are smooth or if they have lines on then. The back side of the belt the ( smooth side) goes against the smooth pullies. The side with lines on it goes to the other pullies. Some vehicles have the diagran in the engine compartment. Under the hood or by the top of the radiater.

Timing belt replacement

hi mate
if you look on the front of the engine under the starter there is a small hole, (you can use a 5mm allan key in this hole to lock the crank) place allan key in the hole and hold it against the fly wheel while you turn the engine over in a clockwise direction by hand when the pin drops in you need to check that the hole in the cam shaft lines up with the hole in the head (should be about 4 o clock on the pully) and the 2 holes on the injection pump pully line up with the holes in the injection pump. (if these dont line up you will need to remove the allan key and turn the engine clockwise 90 degrees)
once all the the holes are lined up and the allak key is inserted into the flywheel, insert 3 m8 (13mm headed) bolts in to the hole on the cam pully and the 2 on injection pully. with all thes done your engine will be timed up and wont slip when refitting new belt.

On-line step by step guide to change timing belt.

this is the best guide/instructions I could find on the net and I do allot of this.
take the timing cover off the belt there should be a gear below the camshaft pully its a tensioner use a peice of chalk and mark the very top of the cam pully and the very bottom of the crank pully do your best not to turn them loosen the tensioner pully the belt will loosen up take it off put the new one on if you turned the pully put it back slowly tighten the belt when its tight if the pully turned when tightening pull the slack out by hand then tighten it both chalk marks should be lined up if they are start the car always unplug the battery first and dont rotate the pullys more than a few inches if nessacery when the belt is off you could cause damage to the valves
