The Jetta came with DTC (digital traction control) which you control with the DTC button. Generally one click disables the Automatic Braking System while holding it down disables the traction control. One more click should reset everything and turn the icon off. If it will not go off by using the DTC button then the computer is sensing a problem in either your traction or braking system and your best bet is to stop by your local auto parts store for a free code reading to tell you exactly what the problem is. It may be as simple as a sensor, but to be safe have it checked out if the DTC button control doesn't turn the light off for you.

Thats the light that your on board computer shows to let you know that there is a problem with your car, u need to have it checked because aparently theres some problem with either a sensor or a valve or actuator on your car.
hope this helps

RE: 2002 Volks Jetta

If the circle is not continuous and has an arrowhead at the bottom, it has to do with the stability control system. See the link for a description and meaning. I recommend watching the short video near the bottom of the page.

A warning light on my mini one diesel 2011. a yellow circle with capital (A) in centre

I think you mean the yellow circle with the triangle and the exclaimstion point? ... That would be a service light. If it says ABS in the center (orange warning light ln the right, not left) then your brake system needs inspected or serviced.

When turning left, a yellow warning sign comes on dashboard on my 2000 Audi A4. It has a tringle and circular arrow around it. It flashes, and accelarator turns off. Any ideas what this could be?

The yellow triangle is a warning that a sensor has detected a problem. You might check that all of the fluids are full. especially the oil. Going around corners shift the fluids from one position to another and then the sensor thinks that the fluid is low therefor giving a false reading.

I have a light on dashboard, its like a circle with a triangle in it, and in the triangle theres a exclimation point in it, the circle is not closed at one end theres an arrow head. dont know what this...

Its the ESP Light - Electronic Stability System.

If it's always on you should do a diagnosis with a scan tool to see what's the problem. After that i will help you more.

Warning Lights

Are your hazards lights on? I don't know your car but The triangle most of the time is hazards lights. Now when you turn your key on all the light should come on then go off, If on stays on in some cases it could be just a bulb. To check your Bulbs use you turn singles / blinkers. You can get them on by turning key to on with out starting car. Then turn on our left by pushing switch down first. Check driver side front & rear. Then check passenger side by switching to the right switch up. Good luck

Alrite mate, there is a warning light on my dash its a warinig triangle with a circle round it, wot could be cuasing this its on a mk4 golf x reg

Not sure from your description but this sounds like your traction warning light (left side of the warning light panel, it looks like a triangle with an arrow going round it in a circle), it normally comes on when you have either turned the traction control off via the button on the dash or if its wet on the road. It can also be caused by cornering too fast.

Yellow explanation mark warning light

that is your traction control. Either you pressed the traction control button it say ASR OR ESP on your console in the center next to the hazard switch.

Yellow (circled arrow) around a yellow triangle

That light is the traction control device that's been turned "off". It also comes on if the traction control is engaged. On my it can be turned on and off by the switch next to the drivers window toggle. could it be you hit this switch? If it stays on in spite of the switch, could be a wheel sensor. Doesn't hurt performance (could say it helps performance if it's off) but tire life and driving in rain and snow make it useful to have it functioning.
