You should feel 4 bolts on the cranck case pully plus one large bolt in the center undo all and remove the pully make sure all the bolts on the plastic cover are removed ,
PS make sure not to remove the timing belt , if you do make sure to mark it all up so as to get the same timing.

Water and oil coming out of exhaust , need to know how to replace head gasket express van 89

Oil coming out of the exhaust is an indication of valve stem seals are gone. What engine is in your van?You will need a reconditioned head or you could do the seals yourself as the whole kit comes with all the required seals.

How to replace water pump in a 1992 mitsubishi galant

All Mitsubishi cars pretty much hide the water pump under the timing belt. You should buy all new belts for the car and consider replacing the water pump at the same time. You will have to take off the power steering belt, the alternator belt, the upper belt cover, support the motor, take off the motor mount, jack up the right front corner of the car, take off the front right tire, take off the engine plastic under cover, line up the TDC timing mark, Take off the front wheel ,take off the plastic splash cover, using an air wrench take off the lower pulleys, take off the lower engine cover, observe the timing marks/arrows and highlight with paint (on the crankshaft, counter balancer shaft , and cam shaft),take off the timing belt, counter balancer belt if there is one, water pump belt, and now you can unbolt the water pump, scrape the gasket, and replace it. Now the good news, if you have tools,a compressor, an air gun(for lower pulley bolt), patience , and four to eight hours to kill, you can actually do it your self.
