Question about 1997 Volkswagen Jetta
I have a vw polo 1.4i 1997 model and everytime I take the car out of gear without touching the clutch or brakes in other words I let it free untill it comes to a complete halt the revs drop to below 500 and often the engine will simply stall but as soon as the car comes to a complete halt in other words the precise moment the wheels stop turning the revs return to normal. Remember the car is out of gear the wheels are free from the drivetrain. My Question is there a sensor that monitors the motion of the wheels and in turn communicate with the fuel injection, because the revs only return to normal when the wheels stop turning, is this electrical or fuel injection problem. I have checked the checkvalve going to the intake manifold it is working. Thanks
