I'm noticin a leak on my 2002 Bmw x5. It looks like a clear color fluid on my garage floor. I took a flashlight and see somthing yellowish that is dropping. By the color do you know what fluid might be leaking?

It is very like radiator coolant. It is typically yellow/green color.
If you smell it, it will have a sweet scent.

BMW 2002 X5 Battery Drain

I am having the same problem with my 2002 X5. There is a motor or fan running behind the AC control panel on the dash and if I pull fuse 48 it stops and the battery doesn't drain. Still looking for the cause and solution so that I don't have to keep pulling and installin fuse 48. BMW garage suggested that it was the Final Stage Blower Resistor. I replaced this and no change. I hope someone has an answer that will help us both.

2002 BMW 530I MECHANIC SAID I NEED TO REPLACE POWER STEERING HIGH PRESSURE HOSE IT IS LEAKING I NEED A HAND ON WICH ONE IS IT AND BEST WAY TO CHANGE IT

A fellow BMW enthusiast who has owned many of them once said "Show me a BMW that is not leaking power steering fluid, and I'll show you a BMW with no power steering fluid in it. This problem is common to the point of being universal.
If the oil stain on your garage floor is not annoying you yet, then you don't really NEED to replace the hose yet. All four of my BMWs are at least damp with oil in that area.
That being said, the high pressure hose is actually two hoses that run parallel to each other with a metal U-shaped pipe connecting them together. This assembly will run you $275 at the dealer or $225 on line.

Wet floor driver side

Generally I would guess that if the fluid on the floor is sweet to smell, then it is radiator fluid. That could be your heater core or a heater line coming from your engine compartment through the firewall. Get a flashlight and look up under the dash to try to find the leak.

The floor is wet on the drivers side by the door on my camry 02?

Use a white paper and get a sample of the fluid on the driver side door.

Check the color.

Is it look similar to the coolant or window washer fluid?

The most likely cause of interior leaks are

AC drainage blockage (clear water)
heater core leak (coolant)

Yellowish-Green LEAK HELP!

I am guessing that you may have mold (green) in the water coming from your Air Conditioner or from the water channels where the water flows from the car vents to the ground. Usually green is the coolant. Could also be a prankster the poured some lime flavored pop/soda under your car or one leaked in the trunk? Did someone else park there and you are seeing their leaked stuff? Without more info, this is just wild guesses. Where is the leak seen - inside the car? under the engine? floor of a garage? outside in the street? Maybe even windshield washer fluid was that color if it spoiled?
