Yes , or a relay. Fuel pump or relay may be the culprit.

01 jeep grand Cherokee died while driving. Now it makes one good click but won't start

That might be a starter motor problem. Put it in reverse with the handbrake (emergency brake) and the ignition OFF while its on level ground.
Rock it back and forth. If it then starts you probably have a dead spot on the starter motor and it need be replaced although if moneys tight the rocking trick is a good fix that lasts indefinitely (pain in the button, especially if it's raining). If it still won't start...

When it dies, does it start right back up? Or when it dies does the starter cranks the engine over but it will not start until it sits for a little bit?

2002 Escape. Died yesterday while driving. Will not start. Fuel pump is working... ant ideas??

Crank Sensor? I had a 99 Ford Explorer that died on me in the middle of driving and it turned out to be a bad crank sensor. Check all fuses and relays though just to eliminate the obvious, and maybe buy a repair manual from advance or auto zone. Best of luck!

1992 taurus died while i was driving and doesnt start but cranks

The sound you are describing is the fuel pump. When you first turn the key to the on position, the fuel pump pressurizes the system. This could be fix by replacing the fuel pump or even something more simple like a fuse to they fuel pump relay or the inertia switch that some vehicles are equipped with has tripped, which in this case, it's usually located in the trunk, behind the carpet, on the sides of the vehicle. It will have a small button that can be pushed back in. Hope this helps direct you in the right direction and good luck!

Car cranks good but won't start

Hello... I applaud all the work you have done so far... A car basically needs ignition, fuel and compression to run. I will leave the compression for last.

But lets do some simple checks.. Even though parts are replaced, check to make sure you have a strong spark, use a spark tester. They are cheap.

Check all powers and grounds running from the ignition system This includes all wires and power cables from the fuse box.

It sounds like something is loss...

I would also have the computer scanned with a scanner to see if there are any codes stored.

Good Luck.... Post back with fix... Thanks

Car drives good but it died while driving

I'm leaning toward a bad crankshaft sensor. There's a couple of experienced GM guys on here, so we'll pass it by them first just to be sure.
