93 lincoln towncar, 66k miles, replaced starter (was bad) now after crank-up, approx 10 min driving time, anti-lock light comes on then the a/c read-out goes crazy and then it dies. Then it won't start,...

I'd check those fuses for voltage, when problem is ongoing. Those fuses are hot all the time, use a test lite. Did you check voltage drop on cables and wiring? Battery has a full charge and charging system is working correctly?

I have a 1995 chevy z28 camaro, on my way home from work it died on my just cutt off. i got it crunk back up and found a vacum leak under the hood and tryed to put duck tape on it so i could get it...

same thing was happening to me when i started fixing mine up; when your talking about the starter humming up and not starting the car, i basically replaced all 8 sparkplugs and got a new starter and a new battery. My guess is that maybe your starter has gone out from all the playing and starting back up so often. The vaccum leak is a big deal so get that fixed first, but if u do and it still wont start, do what i did!

1994 gp 3100 ,wont start, turn key getting all the dash lites but starter not engaging, security lite is flashing, the car was drove to my hse i know it runs any ideas, battery is new, key is a #7.with key...

You need to set the parking brake, Turn the key on let it sit like that for 10 mins. the sec light will either start flashing or will stay on or go off when done (This will reset)
REPEAT 3 times!
Then you should be able to start the car after the 3rd time!

are you using the original key for the car because it sounds like a theft system problem I had a 2000 jeep that did the same thing it would start for a bit and then quit on me found out that the key has a chip in it so the key i got cut works for the lockes but cant use to run the car

try this: turn key on, crank starter for 1 second, leave key on for 10 minutes. after 10 min. shut key off and repeat 3 times. (on second try, crank a sec. or so longer, the reprogram may take off right away. if not, repeat make sure battery is strong, key could be on for 1/2 hr. sometimes engaging emergency brake before key is turned on prevent daytime running lites to come on to save battery power (if equipped). been through it, thought i'd mention it

Sounds like the starter decided to quit on you. Replace it and things will be better.

1999 chevy blazer won't start

First of all make sure all your battery connections are Clean and Tight. If they are and all your dash lights come on and its not starting But its cranking over Your anti theft alarm may have gotten activated. You may have to leave your Key in the On position for 20 minutes to reset the alarm. Not cranking just in the on position, Now if its not Cranking and your hearing a clicking sound it may be your starter. I have sometimes tapped on the stater with a deadblow hammer and had someone crank it over Making sure your in park foot on brake and being EXTREMLY Carefull that you are not going to run someone over. If that don't get you going Get back to me we can do some more trouble shooting. Get that thing going for you. Thanks, Bear001
