The antifreeze on that car should be good for 100,000. but any long life anti freeze that states it meets gm specs, will be fine.
If the trans fluid has not been changed before, I do not recommend doing it now. the detergents in atf fluid will remove to much dirt from the existing components and cause a failure. any other fluid you may choose to do, just follow the basics, meets or exceeds oem for your gm vehicle.

When do you drain & refill transmission fluid and what the normal cost of this service

If just regular driving and non severe ( mountain/hill/hot temps ) around 50000-60000 miles. Check the color of the fluid on the dipstick for fluid discoloration. It should be redish. The cost for a drain and fill should be in the 100 dollar range.

Do you need to change the oil every so often in the transfer case 4 wheel drive.

They change it after a certain thousand miles. Read the manufacturers recommendation. It is a good point to have it changed every 30000 miles.

Where is the transmission dipstick located on my 2006 Pontiac G5? And what steps do I have to take to check and change it?

Hello
Alot of the newer GM model do not have transmission dipsticks anymore they are kindof a pain to check them. With the front of the car raised and supported level on a hoist or jackstands front and rear for a accurate reading from the passenger side of the vehicle look on thr back passenger side of the transmission there is a 11 mm bolt facing you, while the vehicle is running remove that bolt, transmission fluid should ran out of the hole, if it does not then you will need a friend to add from above while you watch while they add transmission fluid untill it does start running out that hole, if you look way down between the air box and the throttlebody there is a red cap down there remove the cap and the fluid there. To change the fluid I would recommend taking it to a repair facility and just having a transmission service done on it, it will save you a big headache. Transmission should be serviced around every 30,000 miles for normal driving conditions.
Good luck
Chris

Should the cooling system fluid be changed on a 2006 sts with 20,000 miles?

You should change you hoses about every 3 years. The heat from the engine wears down the rubber. When changing the hoses, that's when you change your coolant. Even with such low mileage, you should change the hoses and coolant. The radiator will drain when changing the hoses, best time. hope this helps

I would reccomend using Prestone Extended Life is a 50/50 mix that is prediluted. But before you replace your fluid i would recommend having it flushed first. Hope it helps.

Changing transmission fluid for 06 Kia Sedona

Transmissions these days need very little maintenance, our fluids are advanced formulas that hold up for an average of 100,000 miles, most vehicle manufactures recommend no maintenance for automatic transaxles these days.As for a transmission flush I don't recommend this because it's an expense that is not needed and possibly could loosen some contaminants setting them loose to possibly clog some of the very small passages in the transaxle requiring full transaxle service, which could include removal, dissassembly, etc of your trans. Now draining and replacing fluid is OK if that makes you feel a peace of mind but normally not needed,if you decide to do that,as far as quantity just note approx. how much fluid is drained and purchase similar amount in quarts and then refill (DO NOT OVERFILL)
start engine, let it warm up to operating temp, then check the transmission dipstick for the correct level, remember the vehicle needs to be on a level surface, hot idiling in park when you check the fluid level. Good luck !

How often do I have to change the timing belt

On the 2L (4 cylinder) engine it is recommended to inspect the belt at 37200 miles and replace the belt at 56000 miles.

On the 2.7L (V6) it is recommended to replace the belt at 60000 miles.

And, both these engines are interference engines (meaning if they break a belt, pistons hit and bend valves) which is not a pretty sight...
