Question about 2004 Volkswagen Passat
When it rains my carpet gets wet. Seems to come in just foward of drivers left foot area on the side.
Possibly your body drains are blocked and water is entering via the scuttle under the windscreen. I have had this problem on two cars and cleared the body drains with curtain wire.
Another possible problem is that a cable grommet in the engine bulkhead/firewall is not seated correctly. I had that and it took a long time to find!!!
