Question about 1998 Toyota Tercel
If you have a timing light, put it on to determine if it has spark in the wire. If you don't, take a "known good" spark plug, and plug it in to the wire. Lay it on the engine block somewhere, and have someone turn the engine over and watch for spark. If there is spark, the problem will be the plug. If there is no spark, the problem will be the wire.
