There is water in the passenger footwell of a 2000 jeep cherokee. I thought it may be the air conditioning but it is still happening using the heater any ideas what it could be?

Hi, The water is clear condensate water from the air conditioner evaporator drain. You'll notice that the water doesn't contain any antifreeze or odor. Keep in mind that running with the ventilation control selector in the defrost position also runs the air conditioner. The foam seal around the drain tube and the fire wall has deteriorated allowing water that is blown back against the fire wall around the drain tube to enter the passenger area of the vehicle. You can see the hard plastic drain tube protruding low on the engine side of the fire wall. It's about an inch or so long and a little better than a half inch in diameter. The fix is easy and permanent. Cut a 2.5' patch from some rubber gasket material, it can be round or square doesn't matter. Cut a round hole in the center of the patch that is slightly smaller than the tube. Slather one side of the patch with marine sealant and slide itover the tube with the sealant side tward the fire wall pressing the patch against the firewall. Now use a wet dry vac to extract as much of the water from the passenger foot well as possible an wait about a week or so for the carpet and padding to dry. This works, I had the same problem.

Gurgling sound dash

Depends.
It could be water trapped inside the heater box, or air in the cooling system. If the sound happens when you take off from a stop, it could be low on coolant. If it happens when you are making a turn, it could be water in the heater box. The drain could be plugged up.

1999 grand jeep cherokee limited air con prob water coming out vent behind driver seat and water drops noted under glove box front passenger side ???? what to do air con recently regased works well but...

You have a leak in your air conditioning compressor Your system works on the reheat principle All air passing through the system is cooled and reheated before it enters the cabin this sould be dehumidified air but it passes through the heater core and sence the air is not dehumidified you are getting condansation as the air flows the heater core that is heated by the engine heat and the water is from condencation because of the leak in the ac compressor The unit is a press fit in the center of it and fials unfortinatly a lot with this disgien of compressor

Water leak on the passenger side of the jeep, underneath the vehicle. Is this a problem?

If it is just water, then it is most likely rain run off or discharge from your air conditioning. Not a problem. If it is antifreeze, green or orange, then you have a problem and should get it checked ASAP.

Water in passenger floorboard

Is it antifreeze, or water? If you have been using your air conditioning, it could be condensation running in because the drain is plugged. Check it closely before you rip out your heater core, because, yes, sometimes that can be a big job.
