Have a 96 impala ss and there is a scraping noise from transmisson? Just had an engine and transmission swap, possible yoke sleeve?

I would check the torque converter dust shield for being bent and scraping on converter as it spins.

The blower motor quit working on my 96 impala ss . It seems to be a common problem but I keep hearing about blower motor resistor . I don't know how to check the resistor or if the motor is not turning...

It could be any of several things--fuse, switch, resistor, motor or wiring. Always check the fuse first. It may be in the engine compartment fuse box. If not the fuse, you have to troubleshoot to be sure which part is bad. Your blower may be accessible from the engine compartment. If you see it sticking out there, see if you can pull the connector off. With the key and blower switch turned on, use a 12 volt test light in the connector terminals to see if there is voltage. If yes, the motor is bad. If no, check the resistor next. The resistor is somewhere along the heater box, either in the engine compartment or under the dash--sometimes hidden behind the glove box. It has several wires coming out of it and is held onto the heater box with 3 screws. Take the connector off and remove the resistor. If it has heat damage, it is probably bad, but you can test across the resistors with an ohmmeter to be sure. If the resistor is good, the problem has to be the swtich or wiring. You can access the switch by pulling the trim off the control panel and then unscrewing the control panel. The switch has 5 terminals. Use an ohmmeter to check continuity from the unput to the various outputs in each speed setting. If you have questions, please let us know. I have pasted a picture of your resistor below.

1996 chevrolet impala ss tail lights will not work with switch, they will turn on with the alarm. already replaced light switch

could be a wire crossed from the alarm system or a faulty switch use a test light to determine power to the switch itself and although it may not be the issue check and ensure all the fuses are good ...i do think at this point its a faulty light switch

My fuse to the cooling fan in my 95 ss impala keeps blowing when I turn the switch

I'm going to assume that you are referring to the blower fan...when the fuse blows it is telling you that there is a short in the system or excessive amperage draw...Most often it is caused by the blower motor itself that has worn out and drawing too much amperage in order to turn. Resist the temptation to just replace the fuse with a larger one...that will cause failure elsewhere in the system as well.

2004 impala ss the blower moter stop working the fuses are good what next

Try tapping on the motor itself while it is switched to high. It is most likely the brushes may be stuck. Through time it will wear out and eventually need to be replaced.

1996 impala ss air conditioner compressor is very noisy

That clutch and coil are serviceable without replacing the compressor but I have had little success with this as usually the clutch gets in that shape subsequently from activity going on inside the compressor which means that clutch is failed generally for a reason.replace the compressor -orfice tube-reciever drier and happy motoring......
