Question about 2009 Pontiac G5
I have a 2007 Pontiac G5. When the lights are set to auto and the sun is out, sometimes there is a delay with the DRL system. I know there is a delay because my instrument panel is illuminated and might not darken. For instance, today I was parked in the shade and then I drove out onto the highway, drove for 15 mins, and then finally the instrument panel darkened. Normally, it should take 5 to 10 seconds for this to happen. Also, I reported this issue and had my car examined today. The issue could not be duplicated.
Anyone have an idea whats going on?
Put a homemade capwith a hole on top over the sensor so it will see only light right above. at sunset, it will be full active.
