How to replace driver side mirror on a 2004 Chevy Impala

Inside drivers door, just opposite of mirror there is a triangular piece of trim with one screw holding it. Remove this and foam padding and you will see the retaining nuts holding the mirror on. Remove these and unplug wire harness. Installation is the opposite

Please don't forget to rate....thanks:

Removal & Installation The door outside mirrors are stud mounted to the door filler. The mirror glass face may be replaced by placing a piece of tape over the glass then breaking the mirror face. Adhesive back mirror faces are available. Left side flat and right side convex mirror faces must be replaced with the same type mirror face when surfaced.
  1. Remove the door trim panel.
  2. Remove the upper trim panel.
  3. Remove the sound absorber.
  4. Remove the (3) nuts.
  5. Remove the control cable from the upper trim panel.
  6. Remove the filler and mirror.
To install:
  1. Place the filler over the studs on the mirror.
  2. Install the control cable through the filler and connect to the upper trim panel.
  3. Install the (3) retaining nuts and tighten to 42-72 inch lbs. (4.7-8.1 Nm).

Need instructions to install replacement side view mirrors for 95 chevy blazer

You will have to remove the door panel, behind the triangle piece on the top right of the drivers side door panel you will see 3 nuts which hold the mirror in place. Remove the nuts and the mirror should come right off the door. Same on the passenger side.

Installation instructions to replace drver mirror on 2006 Sebring

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

I have a replacement mirror for the passenger exterior for a 2008 impala. can you give me step by step details on putting it on

I'm going to assume the 2008 is similar to my 2006. The mirror is attached to the door with (3) 10mm nuts behind the triangle shaped interior trim piece that pops off easily with a screwdriver. If you have electric mirrors, the door panel has to come off to unplug the wiring harness from the mirror. There are three T30 torx screws and a 7mm bolt that need to be removed first...two torx bolts are under the rubber pad in the door grab well and the other is under the plastic trim piece behind the interior door handle. The 7 mm screw is behind the door reflector. Once the torx bolts and 7mm bolt is removed, pry the door panel at the bottom (there is a slot for this) and release the plastic connectors around the panel's edge...some effort is required to release them.
