Transmission may now be toast since you continued to drive it when maybe low on fluid or torque converter had failed. How long since last fluid and filter change? Ever?

I had the same problem. these trailblazer are a pain. There is a cable that runs underneath the vehicle, and that is probably the problem. The cable is broke.

Gear shifter is stuck on park on my 2007 caliber

PERMANENT FIX that doesn't cost a dime or require any tools. It happened to me by accident. Break the detante by moving the gear selector while holding the manual override lever (plastic lever inside the access hole). Once it is gone no matter what the brake switch calls for (lock gear selector or not) the gear selector will always be movable because the mechanical locking mechanism is no longer there. TADA!!! So what if you no longer have to depress the brake pedal in order to change gears. Call it a retro fix.....!

Hi, I have a 1993 Swift sedan and at times after moving off for the first time in the mornings, it is as if it does not change gear from 1st to 2nd smoothly. The engine races up and the car travels for...

When you switch your car off at night and leave it till the morning, especially in older cars, gravity causes oils and lubricants to drip to the bottom of the car, then when its cold and you start it in the morning the oil doesn't do it's job correctly. you need to let the car heat up before you drive it, that should do the trick.
and also on a side note, if the car is automatic,if it isn't revving out before it changes gear it's fine.

The motor is hrd does not move smooth when I start it. and i feel it hard to move.

I suggest that you check the teeth on the flywheel and the starter bendix (drive clutch with gear on it to turn the flywheel). It is difficult to diagnose this without actually seeing the vehicle. It could be that you could get by with changing the starter. Another thing to look at is the flywheel and bolts. It is possible that it is cracked. If that be the case, either the transmission will have to be pulled or the engine.
Hopefully it won't come to that. The longer you try to use it laike that, the worse and more expensive it is going to be to repair it.
Good Luck with it.

Auto Gear does not change smoothly

I think he's referring to the valve body which is the hydraulic part of the gearbox assembly. Can only replace it.
