I had just unhooked a trailer. None of the signal, hazards or brake lights work. The tail lights and headlights work fine. I checked the 30 amp fuse under the hood for the turn/stop/hazard and it was ok. I bought a new flasher and replaced it. The trailer lights had been working fine.

I assume you have checked all the fuses in the running lights both under the hood and in the cab, did this maybe happen after having a trailer hooked up? if no to this question then make sure u have the bulb installed correctly, have found this to be the problem many times, if that is ok and you are sure of that 100% then the problem is most likely the turn signa/mulitfuntion switch on the steering column, these are very easy to replace, just remove the **** shell covers on the column and the switch comes right off, here is the part number for the switch, it is for a truck with tilt sterering and cruise control options.

I would go with the switch, all those circuits run through it, they are well known for this type of problem.

Why does my turn signal/ hazard light fuse keep blowing out

you have a short in one of the light sockets or a worn wire from the wiring harness. could be the flasher assembly. are the turn signals different bulbs from the brake lights? Does using the brakes blow the fuse? (Rear lights or brake light switch on brake pedal). left or right turn signal blowing the fuse will tell which side has the short. 4 ways only, replace the relay.

Most likely this is a brake light switch issue. Replace switch.

If your emergency flashers don't work, all flasher bulbs are fine, but flashing too fast, then check and replace Hazard light switch.

I have a 98 eclipse. I was putting new tail lights on and then the signals stopped working along with the brake lights. the fuse to the brake lights had burnt so I replaced it. The signals however are...

IF THE TURN SIGNALS STILL WORK IN THE FRONT, THAT MEANS THE FUSE & THE FLASHER ARE OK. IF THE SIGNALS DON'T WORK AT ALL CHECK TURN SIGNAL FUSE & STOP / BRAKE FUSE. ARE YOU SURE THE CORRECT BULBS ARE BEING USED?

Turn signals and hazard lights won't work. already replaced flasher unit and burnt bulbs but still no turn signals

Check the Fuse box loacted inside the hood. Look for the guidance on the top of the fuse box for locating trun signal fuses.

Check whether they are good. If not replace with correct rating fuse. If the problem is not solved still, wiring harness has to be checked as the bulbs & flashers are replaced already.

No brake lights, turn signals, or 4-ways.

Did you actually check the bulbs? I believe your brake lights, signal lights, hazards all use the same bulb for each side.

Your brake lights may be your brake switch just above your brake pedal.
The signals could be your electronic flasher module (EFM) located under the dash near the steering column.
Your hazards may be affected by the EFM, but not likely and the switch for your hazards may be faulty

I have brake lights and hazard lights. i do not have turn signals. in dash indicators for hazard lights come on, not for turn signals. fuses look fine and i found 1 signal bulb in the rear that needed...

If the fuse is ok then I would look into replacing the turn signal switch. This is not a very difficult task at all. If you have the hazards then your flasher unit would be ok. If there is only one bulb out then you are probably looking at the switch.
