Question about 1979 Chevrolet C/K 3500
I have a turbo 400 in my 78 chev 4x4 it goes fine in all the forward gears but slips in reverse and barely goes any where what could i do to fix that or what could it be?
Out side of a replacement or rebuild your options are limited most all turbos i have had in my 4x4's reverse is the first gear to go out, you can try an additive like lucas or something like that and see, your only out the price of it, but before you do that pull the dip stick and smell the fluid if it smells burnt don't waist you money on the additive and put it tords another trans. or a rebuild.
