My ABS light stays on. What should I do? This means the ABS is not working. However, the conventional braking system is working. We recommend that you take your vehicle to your nearest dealer for servicing as soon as possible.

What is 13 abs under voltage 2004 jeep grand cherokee

No speed sensor signal at one of the wheels. An expensive fix just to make the light on the dash go out. ABS light on will not affect normal braking function. I would just remove the light bulb in the dash. ABS function is barely noticeable and not cost effective.

I have a 1997 Calvalier, There is a light on the dash. That says EST OFF. What does this light mean?

If you mean ETS it stands for electronic traction system which is part of the ABS control.
There is a problem with the traction control system and the computer disables it until it is fixed.

I have a '06 GV and in the dash appears the ESP and the ABS lights. What the ESP light means and how can I fix it? What I have to resolve with the ABS light?

the ESP is the electronic stability program it works in conjuction with your abs, its it's to help you not over steer your vehical if you go into a skid, the abs keeps the wheels from locking up so you also don't go into a skid when hard braking, check all your wheel sensors and your brakes to make sure you do not have any broken wires or contaminated connections.
hope this gives you some ideasgood luck!!

On my 1997 dodge grand caravan, sometimes the dash lights go our and all the gauges, speedometer, gas gauge, go out but at the same time the abs light is on, if the abs light stays off all the gauges work,...

Yes it is a loose wire or plug. Next time it happens try hitting/smacking the top of the dash, or the steering column, ect. to try at least to located where the problem might be. This works sometimes. Electrical issues can be a nightmare. There is no quick and easy fix. I do alot of electrical and it can take 15 minutes (if your lucky) a whole day if your not. Most jobs I do take an average of 4 to 5 hours.

Abs light stays on in my 97 jeep grand cherokee

The light means there is a problem with the abs pump or one of the sensors for the abs system. Your regular brakes will function normally but while the light is on you have no antilock braking. Abs systems can be fairly complicated, it may be best to take the truck to a reputable repair shop.

E class mercedes 200 1997 abs light on dash board.abs not working

every time that light stays on it means that the ABS sistem is disabled...if theres a problem with the sistem it disables itself for safety...so you need to take the car to have it checked and figure out what is wrong, that light is there to let you know theres a problem and now the sistem is disabled so u need to have it scanned and diagnosed.
hope this helps

you need to go over your entire wiring harness, under the hood and inside the dash. Start with the ground wire on the battery and work your way inside. It sounds like there is a loose ground wire somewhere
