I agree start with fluid and fiter may need a trannt rebuild also may wanna have a scan done to see if its something external causeing the prob

2004 ford escape wont go in reverse Girlfriend got it stuck in the snow then went forward and backwards now only goes forward and reverse when its cold

bad...burned out the trans with the constant slipping, make sure it is not out of fluid, but chances are the trans is toast-sorry

My 2004 jeep grand cheroke makes a humming noise from 25mph all the way to 65mph weather I am on the gas or not, but stops when I start to slow down, any help would be great

Ummm.Not much to go on but get the universal joints checked and also the driveshaft centre bearing.This is the one that supports the 2 piece driveshaft and is bolted up onto the chassis.Hope this helps
