Disconnect the blower speed controller located on the right side of evap. case near blower motor.If it is eatc it is most likely the speed controller shorted to power internally.

I have an 02 expedition, battery light on dash came on. Checked battery and it is OK, replaced the alternator and the battery light is still on.

Use a multi-meter to check the voltage on the battery and then check it again with the engine running. Without the engine running the battery should be 12 to 13volts DC, with the engine running it should be around 14-14.5V. If not, there may be a blown fuse or bad relay or other possible things in the charging circuit. It could be another circuit that blew a fuse or relay that is supposed to be powered but isn't.

I change a fan blower motor in my 2004 nissan sentra and only could run it on two speeds . My daughter turned on hi and it blows fuses and wont stay on now .

check wiring on fan and switch if you had them off. Sounds like you have ground wire mixed up with power wire.

99 and 02 have different motor 5.4-4.6 some early model have the same size engine check 02 for its size and 99 if they are the same you will only have to change the platinum..

1998 ford expedition theft light flashing wont crank but turns over

try disconnecting the battery negative with the key in the run position..this kills the computer..then shut the key off and reconnect the negative cable, turn the key to run position and listen for the fuel pump to come on 2-3 seconds try to start..repeat this 2-3 times if still an issue.. repost findings

Not getting enough fuel to the engine in a ford expedition

I assume the battery is "good" because it has been properly tested? I hope so. It sounds like a failed alternator to me. Faulty batteries are the #1 cause of alternator failures followed by the alternator bearings and/or brushes being just plain worn out.

If you believe the battery is good because you recently replaced it, a failing alternator might be what killed your other battery.

Bad batteries kill alternators, bad alternators kill batteries. These couples either love each other or hate each other...there is no such thing as simply getting along....

I have a 2000 expedition with a relay clicking like crazy under the steering column and noticed with the key in the off position the heater blower still has power. It is killing the battery. please advise

With the relay connectected check the back it is either a 4 or 5 prong terminal 30 is battery volt 85 or 86 is ground if 85 is ground 86 will have battery volt 87 is power going to load such as blower motor the ground should be 0.05 or lower trace it back to problem or if 87 has low battery volt it could be the relay contacts inside

the squirrel cage is probably loose on the blower motor shaft.

There is a TSB for this car (Avalon) to replace both AF sensors and bank 1 exhaust manifold/convertor . Its covered under your 3yr/36k warranty.
