Check the accessory fuse in the fuse box. pull it out and see if it's blown. the fuses are labled.

Lost all electrical power while driving?

Sounds like a poor connection from either the positive or ground from the battery. Check connections at the battery, follow the cables to see if any other connections are loose.

Sounds like the head unit is bad on your audio system. You would need to replace the entire unit. I'd recommend an aftermarket stereo instead of another Ford stereo.

The radio will play while driving, then all of the sudden it shuts off and the antenna goes down. The antenna tries to come up but then retracts. So far the radio will not turn on. It been like this for 5...

Sounds like you just have a bad connection at radio power wire. Check radio fuse first to make sure it's o.k. but then you'll have to get someone to trace power wire to back of radio & check connections.

My 2002 JGC will suddenly shut off while i'm driving.

First place I'd go with this is to check any codes in the computer. Most "supermarket" type parts houses will check with a code reader for free. Pay attention especially to any code indicating a problem with the crank sensor (the most frequent part that causes the kind of problem you posted)
Good luck

that happened to me and I solved the problem by replacing the computer. It cost me $40.00 out of a junk yard and it has been running perfect ever since.

Motor shut off

could be a defective fuel pump relay, but cadillacs most likelly do not have that kind of problems, and there is some else, if one of your neighbohoods, has a radio cb, or you see a cb radio antena arrown or a truck driver was using the radio with the ampifier, that will cause the car to stall, i was driving one day in the freeway and that happend to me, and then the car restart by itself because of the speed i was goin, but it never dit it again after that, laso a defective distribuitor will be the cause, i mean ignition distribuitor

Weather related electrical problems

I had this problem with mine. Do not ever use a automated car wash on your ALERO----it destroys the seal around the window. Then, when you drive in rain, water leaks into the fuse box, shorting it out. I had to replace the fuse box ($500). Hope this helps.
