try changing the wiper relay first and check out the fuses if all is good then the motor itself may have seized or the worm drive may be worn or broken check the toothed spline where the wiper blade attaches the splines may be smooth or broken which will stop the blades moving back and forth

I recently changed my wiper motor in my 2003 Hyandai Accent. Now the windshield wipers will not stop at the bottom. When I turn thw wipers on, it goes donw first then up then back and stops in the middle...

Remove the linkage from the wiper motor. Turn the wipers on then off. This will set the motor in the park position. Move the wipers by hand to there normal off position. Reinstall the linkage onto the wiper motor. The wipers should now park or stop in the correct position.

The driver side wiper doesn't move

will try to assist. when your wipers 'on' can you see looking from outside of car at the driverside wiper,is anything moving?look really close at the wiper at bottom near the wind sheild? is anything moving?do you see the wiper trying to turn?but just does'nt grab? if you see the knob turning, but the wiper not moving, maybe the wipers not pushed down onto the gear properly. try with wipers on,push the wiper arm down,or towards windsheild. does it move then? do you see the wiper gear moving at all? wiggle the arm, does it move on it's own? if so, you need the wipers adjusted.[autozone, advance auto parts] for free. if the wiper on drivers side, the gear that drives the wipers[little round] thing that wiper arm at the bottom of winsheild does'nt turn at all, the wiper arm under the dash in disconnected. this means that the panel outside where the wipers are will need to come off and the wiper arm will need to be reconnected to the wiper motor.there is a reason the wiper arm came off in the 1st place so that will need to be dealt with. it may be a faulty keeper pin,or a faulty carter key that holds the wiper assembly to the wiper motor.i really hope that this assists you,let me know please! and if you need further assistance, please repost your questions to!

Last week my 99 dodge caravan wipers got stuck in the upright postion. The motor sounded stripped and so I replaced it. Now I am having trouble getting the timing right. I flipped the imtermittent switch...

Remove the wiper blades and let the motor cycle a few times as if you were actually wiping the windshield. Then turn off the wipers at the control knob or lever. Re-attach the wiper arms so they are parallel with the bottom of the window yet still on the window. Hopefully this will help. Also, since you replaced the motor, did the new motor you installed have intermittent capability like the original one did? If the motor didn't have intermittent capability like the original then this could also be your problem
