Hi,

The clock & radio usually share the same accessory fuse.

1. Check the 10A Radio/accessory fuse in the cabin fusebox and replace if blown.
2. Check the fusable links from the + (red) battery cable to ensure they're ok and secure.
3. Check accessory relay, in engine fusebox.

Please advise outcome...

I have a 2005 Nissan Altima and my horn don't work

you may have a problem with the clock spring or spiral cable as nissan calles it. it is a part of the air bag system and also horn signal runs into and out of it.if that part is bad, your air bag light will flash and your horn will not work. has anyone been doing any repairs inside of the steering wheel?? it may just be unpluged. if you are going to tackle this your self to look inside of the steering wheel, make sure you disconnect the battery for at least 3 minutes, befor you start playing with the air bag. you dont want to blow it up.

I have a 2005 Nissan Altima, the battery went dead and now the radio will not come on. Neither the radio nor the clock work. How do I fix this problem?

If you replaced the battery then check the fuse for the radio. If it's good then the radio may require a code to be input for it to work again as an anti theft feature. Give you local dealer a call and see if they can talk you thru it over the phone.

The radio went dead after replacing car battery. fuses are fine. Is there a reset on the factory radio?

Some radios have an antitheft feature bulit in. When the power is disconnected (like in replacing a battery or if the radio was stolen from a car) then you have to enter a code to activate it. Call the dealer and ask if they can help you with the code and proceedures. Your owner's manual should have the proceedure listed in it but the code should have been in the papers that cae with your car when it was new. Again the dealer is your best bet. They will need your vehicle VIN and maybe even the radio serial number.

2005 nissan altima won't start, clicking noise is heard

It sounds like your battery is dead. You may be able to fix this with a jump start if you left your lights on over night. If a good jump does not work it may be your starter. but you should start with the simple and cheap solution first. Try having someone jump start your car.
