Question about 2000 Mercury Cougar
I have a 2000 Mercury Cougar and in wet rainy weather the car will not start. If we keep pumping the gas it will eventually start "sometimes". The alternator has been replaced 2 times in a year, battery has been replaced and we have had it in repair shop 3 times.
Change the ignition switch it's a black box that goes inside steering volume there is recalls on that and fule system but if the "brain" don't know the ignition is on then the battery won't charge if that don't work check voltage on Altenator then check it at the battery it should be about 14v
