Battery seems to have died overnight but I can't open the car to lift the hood cause neither of the keys will open the car Pretty sure it must be a battery problem because couldn't get the radio to go off yesterday no matter what I tried.

Assuming that the new battery is not defective and that the charge rate was verified at the battery, not just the alternator alone, you will need to begin by first making sure that any hidden lights are not remaining on (glove box, under-hood, trunk light etc) If they are good, then put an ammeter between either battery cable and the battery and check for system draw. After installing the ammeter, begin removing fuses one by one 'till the reading on the ammeter drops, then you will need to identify which system that fuse operates and check each of the components in that system to determine which one is causing the problem. Certain systems do create a small draw, such as the radio, which needs constant power for setting are looking for a draw larger than that. With a lot of patience and a bit of luck, you will find the cause.

2010 Ford Fiesta and the key will only go past on position and allow the car to start occasionally.Ignition works well out of the housing. Is this an electrical problem as its not mechanical ign fault

The point of contact between the key and the starter has been displaced further, so the key must go further to establish contact. It's an electrical fault.

Hi! I have a 2007 1.6 tdci ford fiesta it shows me " engin fault, check owner's guide" what can it be?

Hi problems of this nature will require diagnostic equipment for a positive result, this seems to be a engine management problem, check all connections to sensors and switches on and around engine bay.

Battery drain on 1995 buick lesabre, where do you start to find it

Disconnect the red battery cable.Take a test light and hook 1end to the + batt post and the other end to the +batt cable. This will make the test light illuminate. Pull 1 fuse at a time until the light turns off. This will pin point the electrical circuit that has "parasitic draw". (be sure to reinstall each fuse that has no change)

How to change the horn on a 2011 ford fiesta

How do you know it's the horn ? Do you have a volt meter ? Check for voltage at the horns . Before replacing parts , test . Go to youtube an watch a few basic electrical trouble shooting videos . Your vehicle has two horns an the possibility of both going out is 0 . When you press the horn switch it is a signal to the BCM - body control module , then the BCM turns on the horns . Do you have an airbag light lit on the instrument cluster ? The clock spring in the steering column could be open .What fuse did you check . F32 in the battery junction box - fuse box under the hood in engine compartment . How cars clock spring works

Battery drain

Get your alternator tested, as a fault in this can lead to undercharging or permanent battery drain - causing a flat battery overnight. Once this is ruled out, remove fuses one by one, and insert test probes in the sockets to test for amperes. Replace each fuse as you do this.
Very often there will be a high drain from audio equipment if a motor is stuck.

Ford Fiesta Indicator Lights won't turn off

It is most likely a short in the wire to ground. What you can do is have the trouble codes run with a diagnostic tester or ground the test lead and read the trouble codes from the check engine light flashes. The trouble codes will tell you if there are and electronic or computer faults. If not, then its just a wiring issue.

Batterie is drained when i get up the next morning to start it up

well for starters make sure your battery is fully charged disconnect battery ground(-) ,connect a test light between negative(-) terminal on battery and the ground strap you removed from the battery, if the test light lights up then you have somthing draing your battery. start by removing fuses one at a time if the test light goes out after that fuse is removed that is the source of the draw killing your battery. If there are no faults found at fused circuits start disconnecting wiring connectors from the nonfused circuits ie starter, ignition, alternator, cooling fan.If the test light does not light up at all when connected let me know for the next step
