Question about 2009 Nissan GT-R
Well the first thing is to check the plugs and set them to 25thou, clean and set the points to 12 thou on the high lip on the cam.remove the vacuum hose from the distributor
Now set the timing mark on the harmonic balancer to TDC, and refit the cap NOW start engine run to 1000 rpm and turn the distributor to the left a little till it starts to run rough, then to the right the same in between the left and right it should be the best place to tighten up the clamp on the distributor and then refit the vacuum hose test run .
If it has a ping when throttling up then you need to turn the distributor forward just a little.
Let me know how you get on . RON
