Lost power to the anti theft device for some reason will have to reset it to get it to run ask the shop that worked on it to fix it at no cost, tell them they left battery cable loose and cased it to set alarm off. Worst they can say is no.

I would check every single fuse in the car. Blown fuses can cause weird issues like this. While the initial issue with the mechanic does sound like an alarm problem....the rest does not unless the shop that installed it really butchered the job.

One of my turn signals wont work, both my headlights only work on highbeams

replace the high beam switch which causes this problem. Also clean the terminals for the directional light bulb. That will cause a negative continuity to the bulb

Sometime the computer in car will shut down a circuit when it sees a problem even if it only occure once. You can try to disconnect the battery for at least 2 min so all sys power off (some have capacitors that mantaine a charge for short time). If a battery disconnect does not clear problem you have go to dealer and have them to clear codes and reset you modules and your preferences

What kind of a rip off is this? We can help fix your problem for free, but if you really want a solution you're going to have to ante up $10 plus. And, by the way, if you fixed it without our help, how about telling us how you did it so that we can charge the next unfortunate soul with the same problem for the information you have provided us free of charge. Really, FixYa, THANKS FOR THE HELP.

Gas gage does not work

I had the exact same problem. It ended up being the float inside the tank. The float was around $90 but 2-3 weeks later I ended up replacing the whole fuel unit which came with a new float attached. I should have just replaced the whole unit when I replaced the float. If you still have the original fuel unit, you might want to consider just replacing the whole unit. I hope you find this helpfull.
