2004 jeep grand cherokee window fell down

The cables in the window regulator have likely broken. Once the door panel is off you should be able to feel around or even see the broken cable. New regulators are typically readily available at your local parts store. I will recommend either the dorman brand or the NAPA brand regulators or the original equipment one from the dealer.

My back passenger will not roll back up, sounds like it is off track, is this an expensive fix? It is a 2003 jeep liberty

This is common with most Jeeps. The window regulators are ****. Both of my back window regulators in my Jeep failed overnight within a week. I called Jeep about it and they pretty much said ya, it's not a safety recall even though my Jeep could have been stolen without anyone having to break in. Instead of paying $800-$1000 from the Jeep dealership to get them fixed, I opted to go to home depot and get some of those thick aluminum flower hangers and bent them so that they hang my windows up and mounted them using bolts and washers. The windows won't roll down, but at least I'm not paying for more regulators to go bad in the future. Do a search online and you will see mega horror stories from people constantly replacing them with no payback from Jeep. This is definitely the only Jeep I will ever own. Chrysler/Jeep sucks for customer support. I would not recommend changing a window regulator unless it's on their dime, but good luck with that!!

How to replace a electric motor for power window in 1994 honda accord

How to Replace a Window Regulator (with Motor)
(DIY Complexity: Moderate / DIY Time: 2.8 hours)

Parts:
1. Window Regulator

Tools:
1. Screwdriver
2. Trim Panel Removal Tool
3. 3/8 in. Drive Ratchet
4. Socket Set
5. Riveter Kit

Steps:
Step 1 Remove the door panel by removing the handles and switches. It is required to unscrew or unclip the panel.
o Tip: Safety Tip:Always wear safety glasses when working on your vehicle. Wear other personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, for example latex gloves or safety shoes.
o Tip: Refer to the vehicle specific service manual if available. There are several fragile plastic clips and hidden screws on the door panel that will break if removed improperly.

Step 2 Remove the vapor barrier.

Step 3 Disconnect the glass from window regulator.

Step 4 Tape the glass to door frame. The glass should not require removal.
o Tip: Tape the glass out of the way to allow access to the window regulator and window lift motor assembly.

Step 5 Disconnect the electrical connector from the window motor.

Step 6 Remove the window regulator mounting bolts. Slide the regulator assembly out through the interior access opening of the door. Remove the motor.

Step 7 Attach the original motor to the new window regulator and install the regulator assembly. Tighten the mounting bolts.

Step 8 Reconnect the electrical connector to the window motor.

Step 9 Install the window back onto the window regulator.

Step 10 Re-install the vapor barrier.

Step 11 Re-install the door trim panel and handles/switches.

Step 12 Test the power window for proper operation by rolling the window up and down in complete cycles for proper testing.
o Tip: After re-installing a window lift motor and regulator, it may be necessary to re-program it following manufacturer specific instructions. Not following or performing this step may result in improper power window function.

Hope helps (remember comment and rated this).

Rear drivers side back window on 94 jeep grand cherokee will go down but not up Problem

These are notorious for this failure: the window regulators are inherently weak and must be replaced when broken.
You can buy new regulator assemblies from most auto parts suppliers.
They are only moderately difficult to replace.
