Changed manual clutch in a 2000 dodge ram 1500 2wd v6 truck got it back together now it turns over but won't crank

Do you mean that the engine will not fire or run? If that is what you mean, When you replaced the clutch you may have damaged the Crank shaft position sensor. It is located on the passengers side of the engine. where the Bell housing and engine block are bolted together, Just above where the exhaust manifold and exhaust pipe meet. It is bolted to the engine block with 2 bolts. If you do not know it is there and even if you do it is easy to damage.

88 dodge truck ram 50 2.6 L engine. Changed spark plugs , oil, fuel filter underneath near rear tire. the problem is when im starting or warming up vehicle it runs fine but once i get going or...

There are 2 fuel filters on the Ram 50's. One bolted to the frame under the bed/box (near the rear tire) and one in the engine compartment on the fuel line going to the fuel pump.
Although, it sounds like the choke isn't functioning properly. Once the truck has reached operating temperature remove the air filter and check to see if the choke is completely open. If that is functioning correctly i would check the timing. Which should be at 7* BTDC, although from personal experience with my own ram 50 (an '84 with a modified 2.6) I've found they run much better with the timing set to 9* BTDC.
As the 2.6's get higher mileage, the timing chain stretches and the guides (a poly/plastic guide glued to an aluminum bar) wear and allow slack in the timing chain, throwing the original settings out of wack. You can compensate for it by adjusting the timing, but in the long run (if it fixes the problem) i'd recommend installing a new chain & guides.

88 dodge ram 50 4x4 manul trans. 2.6 mitshibishi.

the loss of power I was experiencing was because the secondary was not working. The vacuum was not strong enough to open the secondary.
I found a stronger vacuum and hooked it up there. Still need to fine tune the adjustments on the Carb. Have twice the power I had but still need adjusting.

I have a 1984 dodge ram pick up with the mitsubishi motor and i was woindering if the timeing was belt or chain

1984 years came with the 2.0L, 2.6L gasoline and 2.3 diesel engines.

It's most likely a timing belt, but read further for more info. Recommended to be replaced at 60,000 miles (96,000 km) on gasoline engines and on diesel engines at 50,000 miles (80,000 km).

The 2.0 L Engine have two timing belts. One connects the crankshaft and camshaft, the second one drives the right silent shaft.

The 2.6L engine has a timing chain and a silent shaft chain.

Please check to see which particular engine you have and refer to the above for your answer.

Line up of trans to motor doing clutch replacement 88 dodge ram

Leave your clutch assembly bolts loose, so the clutch plate can move as needed to line it up, then tighten them after tranny fully in place. I believe most autoparts store now will lend or rent you an alignment tool if necessary. I guess I was lucky, I always seemed to find something I could use to align it by eye.
