If your looking for that kind of information you will want to pick a service manual. Also if you have 2 of the dashes. You will be able to learn from un-installation of wiring on one to know how to install it on the other. Installation is the reverse of removal. The factory service manual explains everything in as much detail as is possible. This is what dealer mechanics use. Your manual is only 20$ buy it now on ebay and is very inexpensive especially for a factory service manual.

How many liters of 80/90 weight gear oil does my 1990 chevy c1500 take in the transmission?

Fill at side fill hole until fluid begins to run back out. Let it run until it stops, install plug and wipe up excess. If fully drained, usually holds less than 3 liters.
