Question about Toyota Camry
I have a 1990 Toyota Camry with 275K miles. It is the 4cyl 3FSE engine. I did a rebuild @220K but did not change out any ignition or fuel components during the rebuild so those parts are still original. The problem is that the car does not have the power it once had and there is sometimes a slight stumble on acceleration in the mid-range. The engine is mechanically sound with good compression, no oil burning, good plugs, cap & rotor with timing to specs. It passes smog and is otherwise in good shape. I am wondering if maybe fuel injectors are tired but am hesitant to just start changing parts.
I had a Toyota corolla that had a similar problem took off distributor cap found pieces of copper windings from coil replaced complete distributor problem fixed.
