If you have correct power to the machine and have followed all instructions, take the welder back for warranty.

Help needed have a Ldv Maxus, put a new plastic grommet into clutch pedal today as the old one broke, now having trouble getting it into gear unless I pump the pedal Any Idears please.

Sounds like there is now air in the system. If there is a bleed nipple on the slave cylinder, bleed the clutch with new fluid. If not, it is a sealed system and both the master and slave must be replaced as a pair and ensure you follow the instructions otherwise you will get air in the system again.

1996 Dodge 1500 ... Headlights shut off after a while then come back on... Is this the head light switch burning out/overheating? Bump or no bump

could be a bad switch or a problem ground on the headlight relay
when it gets hot ( arcing as in a welder from a loose ground) the resistance is too high so the relay stops working
when it cools down , connection , lights back on

Hello if i change the esa on ldv maxus do i need to re programme the fob remote

Not heard of ESA. But if it is the main part of central locking, yes, FOB's have to be programmed to it.

Help!!! how to reset a LDV Maxus key fob?

Hi
I know from experience that you cannot really re synch these fobs on the LDV Maxus vans.
What actually is the fault is an onboard component on the pcb has failed and we normally just replace that with a new one..the fob will be tested for operation and sent back. OR its the Relay in the ESA unit - under the left hand front glovebox on the bulkhead - black with cables going into it. We have those relays (soldered to the pcb) we can supply those or do the work for you. The fob connects to that ESA and the unit then fires the relays to open/close the doors. Sometimes that unit is installed upside down which causes water (condensation) to enter the box and have fun with your electrics.
The fob is SYNCHED to this unit via coding we can use your old fob to clone to a new fob and that will work with the ESA and the vehicle.
We have the parts on this link Items for sale from remobilise ltd

Here is a link to how to program the fob to the vehicle via the programmer - NOTE how you MUST have a working fob to program another (text at the start of the video... LDV Maxus flv

We can fix most problems on the LDV Maxus that occur with faults to do with the Central locking/fobs/ESA/ETACS - three relays are in the ESA and they control ONLY the central locking - two more relays are in the ETACS unit (behind the ashtray) and they control the fogs and intermittant wipers.

Any help or info needed please contact info@remobilise.co.uk

Hi,
This hole can be welded, you need to use an arc welder and cast iron welding rods.

The coil on Mitsubishi Mirage burned out.How do I check why and why does it happen?

Hi,
if a coil burns out, it is normally due to extremely high draw, or a ground. You don't mention if the coil is OEM or not. If replacing such an item, it is best to stick to the original type of part. Check across the top of the coil for "tracking" that would allow the coil to act like an arc welder, and burn it out very quickly. Ensure that there is no water / moisture on the coil surface. If you start the vehicle when it is dark, and lift the hood, you can see if there is any "tracking" taking place. Coils should only be cleaned with a soft dry cloth. It would also be wise to ensure that the wiring is connected correctly to / from the coil and that the HT lead is clean, dry and free from defects.

Good luck.

Crack in factory weld on manifold

your going to have to fix that double quick.
If it's the intake manifold you can try "BLACK SILICONE" on the crack.
Black high temperature will hold till you can find a welder that does Helli arc.
Exhaust cracks need to be arc welded if they're steel or iron.

I fix the transmission but it still leaks the transmission oil

Did you replace the rear main seal? This is where it usually leaks transmission fluid. Unles there is a crack on the housing, which can be welded with a mig welder(Gas Metal Arc Welding). Welding aluminum requires the use of a mig welder, and inert gas called argon. The machine itself cost 500 to a few thousand dollars. I have one in my shop just in case I need to weld aluminum.

Head bolt rounded off on magene 2lts edi its 2001

if you can access the bolt with a dremel tool, you can grind new flats in the sides and try a slightly smaller six pointed socket. If you have an arc welder, you can weld another good bolt to the top of the rounded off bolt head and use the head of the good bolt to undo it.

Audi Q7 transmission rear crossmember broke down need to remove member bolt

I think that it wouldn't be a good idea to use en electric arc welder as the current generated by the welding poles could damage small integrated components. May be you sould try drilling them out instead.
Cheers
