Since there is still no answer to this, I will risk tho I don't know American cars well. Check for a switch somewhere near each door, some of those switches might be defective, or if it is placed on the door, wire interrupt due to twisting when opening/closing door. Hopefully you know which door exactly causes the trouble. To test the switch, if there is just one wire to and one wire out of it, just connect the wires together while a friend is looking for the light.
