I need to remove the engine . can you tell me the

I have a 2004 lincoln aviator with a 4.6 ltr blown engine . I need to replace it. one dealer tells me to drop it from the bottem . but it has welded cross members except for one .
another dealer says they remove the whole body and roll the frame away and remove the engine that way . another one says to go out the front , by removing the manifold and front clip , but again these are welded . i have the means to do it any of these ways , just looking for someone who has done it and can help ?

Replace evaporator coil lincoln aviator

I hate to tell you this but you need to have an accredited shop do the work on that it is very complicated if that is actually the problem there's a valve on the outside that usually plugs up and it is replaceable valve I would take it to an air-conditioning shop have them give you an estimate it's very expensive because the dash does have to be removed in most cases
Hope this helps

I need to change injector 4 and 7 on a 2004 licoln aviator but how do i find out how the cylinders are numbered

Doubtful either injector is bad

Put a screw driver on the injector &
to your ear. If you hear it ticking it's okey

There are no codes you get that actually tell
you what is wrong & never what to replace

The codes are used to diagnose a system
with a malfunction

1,2,3, Pass Side
4,5,6 Driver Side
V6

1,2,3,4,
5,6,7,8
V8

Take it to another dealer if the guy is blowing you off. If you don't want to do that, then there is a number in your owner's manual towards the back. It is a 1-800 number that will connect you to customer service in Dearborn. Explain the details to the representative, then the rep will get in touch with the dealer and have a little discussion with him. You may find that his attitude will change. I assume that the car is still under warrany? I believe they came with a 4yr/48K mile warranty? You might need to have the fluid changed. Or there could be another problem. But discuss it with the people in Detroit and they will help you. good luck.
