Question about 1996 Audi A4
It's in the high-pressure AC hardline, right where it goes through the secondary firewall (the one that divides the battery compartment from the engine compartment). There's a joint there that can be opened up and the valve is inside. Make absolutely sure you've bled all the refrigerant out first, before you open the line.
