1998 Chevy S10 heating problem


Sounds like someone put too much radiator leak **** in it or used well water and stoped up the heater core. Take the hoses off the core and try back flushing it thru the heater core. I have found this to work sometimes....good luck.

Coolant leaking into cab of 1992 chevy s10


The heater core is leaking,this is what fills with coolant,and heats up from the engine,and the blower pushes the warm air from the heater core into the cab.The garage would be the best bet to replace the heater core for you.

simply connect a garden hose to ether side of the heater core and turn on the pressure, it should flow freely, this is a good method to flush the heater core, then flush in the opposite direction

once truck is warm check both heater core hoses to make sure they are both warm if not then check the cold water valve could be stuck shut not allowing coolant to travel in to heater core.

You need to check your coolant level first. If it is low you have a coolant leak. No hot coolant=No heat

You most likely have a clog in the heater core. Did you hear a sound like running water under the dash on the passenger side at one time? If so, it's almost certainly a clogged heater core. The problem is that the orange antifreeze clots. It should be changed more often than recommended.

Replace heating core


the heater core is on the passenger side by the floor . take the 8 bolts out and disconnect the wires and put new one in. hope it helped you out
