Question about Honda Accord

I have a 96 Honda Accord that is idleing rough

I have a 96 Honda Accord that is running a little rough. The car runs fine except when I push in the clutch to come to a stop, or slow down. Its acts like it wants to stall out on me sometimes but never does. But after idleing for a few sec's after stoped it starts to run smooth again as the RPM's go back up. What can I check to fix this problem>

Honda accord ex 2001 check engine light suddenly came on, car started to idle roughly

If it's running rough, chances are that it's misfiring. If the Check Engine light is flashing/blinking, it is definitely misfiring.
If that's the case, drive it as little as possible... Or straight to the mechanic because the more you drive it while it's misfiring, the higher the chance is of you ruining your catalytic converter.

My 94 honda accord ex idles rough when i come to a stop with the brakes applied , almost like it dose when the ac is on.

You need to start using high octane gasoline. Yes the 96 or the 93 not the 89. It costs a little more but it is worth it as it is better for your car and it runs better idling. The brake pads sound "rough" they probably need to be replaced or switched/flipped. This is a cheap and easy task. It may shudder from the fact that it is getting force feedback from the brakes.

I just put a timing belt on a 2000 honda accord

it is off a tooth or you may have disconnected a vacuum line. you can hook a vacuum gauge up to the main vacuum off the manifold and run car at idle. it should read 18 or greater if less you are off a tooth for sure.

IDLING PROBLEMS ON 1992 ACCORD EX

Have the Idle Control Solenoid Valve cleaned up.

Or it might be defective. See steps below to check...
  1. Disconnect idle control solenoid valve electrical connector.
  2. Disconnect upper hose to solenoid valve from manifold and apply vacuum to hose. Valve should hold vacuum.
  3. Continue applying vacuum to hose and briefly energize valve by connecting battery positive terminal to the black/yellow wire terminal and negative battery terminal to the green/black wire terminal. Valve should not hold vacuum when energized.
  4. If idle control solenoid valve fails to perform as outlined, valve is defective.

I have a '94 accord LX 5-speed with 111k miles. When I drive above around 70ish mph, the car starts to run a little rough, it begins to shake a little. There is no CEL light on and the oil was just...

Seem like you need to have at-least the two front tires high speed balanced. This shaking at high speed is most likely due to the tire being out of balanced. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

Stalls at idle

I had the same issue with the same car....turned out to be my Idle Air Control Valve. The mechanic cleaned it out and so far my car runs fine. Actually, a little better than before. It wound up costing me $88.00 for the mechanic and $45.00 for the tow. Hope this helps you out.

Oh by the way, it would've cost me $475.00 to get the part replaced...

Engine runs rough at idle but fine at highway speeds

Choke sticking on probably usually causes this.
Difficult to resolve as it'll probably be an injector problem, which you'll probably have to go a Honda Dealer or expert to sort out.
