I have a 2000 Land Rover Discovery that I just purchased as is at an aution. Before I picked up the car a buddy of mine test drove it and it was running fine but when he parked it the steering wheel was totally upside down. I attempted to start the car but the key wouldn't turn and every time the alarm system triggered. I did several things (unhooked the battery to reset the alarm etc) Eventually I got the key to turn in the ignition and the DISCO started but shortly after it shut down. A techniction at the auction looked at it and told me that it was getting a 1668 code and the Body Control Module needs to be reflashed or replaced. Any suggestions?
You will need to have the code for the number of turns to activate the drivers side door lock ,so many left and so many right .or just get it taken to the dealers .
