No turn signals but have hazards

my key broke off in the ignition, i had no money to call a lock smith so i drilled it out , now i dont have any turn signals but i do have hazards. also just recently i was rear ended, no visable damage to the truck, the truck was parked i was not in the truck anyway now i am having problems with the passengers side brake light going out when i hit the brake peddle , i checked the bulbs they are both good i did try new ones still going out when depresed peddle
