Honestly it would be easier for you and me if you purchased a repair manual for this repair. There is just too much to write down, tools that are needed, torque specs, The troubleshooting part will help you identify what parts should be replaced (pads, drums, wheel cylinder, hardware kit) if it is time. You'll see.

They are a little tricky if you have never one them before.
Do you have a shop manual for your truck, if not your local library will! Use that as a guide.
Do one side at a time so you can look at the other side as referance if you get in trouble.
