Big post on the alternater is battery positive comeing from a fusible link on the live side of the solenoid switch.Yellow wire in the plug splices to the battery wire.'I' wire or green one goes to the charge light,s wire is either not used or is loped back to another connecter in the alternator that is joined to one stator winding.
