Climate has as much to do with your choice of motor oil as the amount of miles on the engine. If you live in a cold climate and your winter temps are often below freezing, you'll want to go with a lighter oil that will circulate better in the cold temperatures. Conversely, in a hot climate, a heavier oil that won't break down in viscosity would be a good choice. As far as the mileage goes, most oils are about the same and as long as you change your oil often, whatever oil you choose based on climate should suit you and the car well. I hope this clarifies your question. Best of luck! Greg

I had my Camry warming up for ten minutes or so, and then drove down the street. It was working just fine, but when I went accelerate to pull out onto the main road, the car stalled, all the warning lights came on, and it wouldn't start back up. I thought it might be out of gas, so I put about 5 gallons in. It still won't start. It acts like it's going to, but then it won't turn over.
