What kind of brake fluid do I use for my 1997

what kind of brake fluid do I use for my 1997 dodge neon?
I am hoping it is just needing brake fluid.....the brake pedal goes to the floor, no squeals or no pumping the brakes is neccessary...thanks for the help...much appreciated

uwse any major brand with the specification of at least DOT 3, DOT 4 IS BETTER.

DOT 2 is what is supposed to be used in a 1997 (read your manual emissionwiz)
