- The choke is wide open when motor is cold. After pumping the accelerator 30 times the choke closes and motor runs fine. I have taken the truck to two very good mechanics twice each to lubricate and adjust choke with no success.

- Do I need a new rebuilt carburetor.

U WON'T BE ABLE TO GET A NEW ONE, SO WHY NOT HAVE YOURS REBUILT, HAVE THEM CHECK FOR A WARPED AIR HORN THAT IS KEEPING THE CHOKE FROM CLOSING.

could be damp getting into ht leads cut the finger tips out of a pair of rubber gloves and thread the ht leads through this will keep the damp out the neck of the glove will oaso fit over the distributer be sure to tape them
