My 2000 golf tdi runs perfect for sometimes a week

my 2000 golf tdi runs perfect for sometimes a week or more then i can turn it off and it will just not start again unless it gets a tow to start although sometimes if left for a few hours it will start again off the key ,help me please.

sounds like the problem I had with my 95 jetta... the ignition switch was the problem there... it was worn out! good luck!
