What type of engine oil do you recommend to gasolin c 180 car?

I have c180 1994 model with automatic transmission and gasolin fuel. I had a wrong mix of engine oil and it was over filled too. the oil I used was total quartz 7000 15w50. I hear a clicking sound when the car gets heated while driving. what is the reason? What type of oil do you recommend?

the over filling would have been a problem although if there is no oil leaks then it should be fine for the moment.
most european cars take a similar blend of oil, you want one of the following;
10W-40
10W-50
10W-60
depending on the weather you are getting, ask the sales person which would be best for the conditions
