I have a prob with one of the ABS senosors on my honda shuttle. I have the ABS light on and am trying to find out if place a piece of wire between the connection after taking the sensor off if this will make the light go off?
If your ABS (ALB) light is coming on, that indicates that there is an electrical (the sensor you mentioned) or hydraulic problem with the system, but if anything is wrong with the ABS it will automatically shut down and your regular brakes will function as they always do. I wouldn't try to make the light go out as making such a connection might confuse you computer and cause strange things to happen. As I said, the light being on shouldn't effect anything in normal braking situations. I would simply replace the sensor.
